Steve Custer and Jim Hessler will be the co-hosts of this spectacular event. They will have several interesting speakers as well as a tour that will follow the route of Brigadier General George A. Custer and the Michigan Cavalry Brigade as it harassed the Confederate Army all the way to the banks of the Potomac River following the 1863 Battle of Gettysburg. An optional tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield and East Cavalry Field, where Custer’s Michigan Cavalry Brigade battled Confederates under JEB Stuart, will take place on Thursday, August 15.
